Contribution of TTK Group of companies
When the Society decided to establish a vocational training centre, TTK group companies offered all financial support for construction as well as buying equipment . TTK Prestige took up the responsibility for the revenue expenses also.
Mr.T T,Jagannathan Chairman inaugurated the new building on the 25 th of August 2012. The building has been constructed with financial support from TTK Prestige, TT Krishnamachari& Co and TTK Health Care at a cost of Rs57 lakhs.
A lab has been constructed (1694 Sq.Ft. ) at a cost of Rs14 lakhs, donated by TTK Prestige Ltd in the year 2014
Another class rooms and 2 workshops were constructed with the donation of TTK Prestige at a cost of Rs31 lakhs( 2200 square feet) Another block has been built at a cost of 1.5 crores to house two more trades.
The total contribution over the last five years by TTK Prestige alone is more than Rs 2.50 crore.

Grant from GGP Govt of Japan
Construction of an Industrial School for the under privileged youth in Tiruvarur district.
A grant was given by the people and Government of Japan for an amount of Rs.65 ,68,910(US $121489) for construction of 3 workshops and 3 class rooms and 4 toilets
We initiated three vocations.
- Mechanic – Refrigeration , Air conditioning and central plant (SCVT)
- Bench fitter (NCVT)
- Domestic appliance repair and maintenance(SCVT)
The new building was inaugurated by Mr. Koji Sugiyama, Deputy Consul- General, Consulate-General of Japan at Chennai, on 28 October 2014 Ms.Mayuko Miyauchi,Project Coordinator, Mr.Z.Andrews Abraham, Development Consultant, Mr .T.T.Jagannathan were other guests. There was wide coverage in print and television media.The Hindu –English and Tamil edition, New Indian Express, Dinamani-Tamil, Times of India and Dinamalar (Tamil). SUN TV and Polimer covered the event in the news.
Follow up visit was made by the Representative of GGP in Dec 2016
Ms. Mayu Minami Consulate general of Japan, Chennai, visited on the 23 rd of December 2016 as part of follow up to monitor the utilization of grant provided under GGP , Govt of Japan.

Cognizant Foundation
Cognizant Foundation provided Rs.13,50,432/- towards buying equipment for upgrading the course for electriciansto NCVT levels. Again this year the foundation has donated 35.30 lakhs towards buying equipment for Mechanic refrigeration and air conditioning trade.
Mr. Madhavan CEO of Cognizant foundation visited the institute on the 7 th of January 2017.
Ms Rajashree CEO Cognizant Foundation inaugurated the AC Lab in the month of August 2019.
AUSAID, Chennai
Rs.10 lakhs was donated by AUSAID for the construction of a multipurpose hall. The hall is utilized as class and lab for the civil draughtsman course.
